Walter Karle, IACCP®
CCO
Walter D. Karle is the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) for Cantor Fitzgerald Investment Advisors LP., Resolution Recovery Partners Manager, LLC., and Fintan Partners, LLC. Mr. Karle holds a bachelor’s in science from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts. Mr. Karle attained his Juris Doctor from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. Walter served as a managing partner for a boutique law firm. Walter also has extensive experience in the financial service industry, previously serving as both a Deputy CCO and CCO for various financial companies. Mr. Karle holds his series 7, 24, 63, 65, and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™.
Phil Smith
Associate
Mr. Smith joined Smith Asset Management Group in November 1997. After graduating with a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Jacksonville State University in 1976, Mr. Smith joined SCI, Inc., an aerospace company, as finance administrator. He subsequently performed a similar role for Martin Marietta, a major defense contractor. From 1981 to 1996, he held several management positions for Social Services organizations.
Bridgett Wade
Senior Operations Associate
Ms. Wade joined Smith Group Asset Management in August of 2016. Her responsibilities include client servicing, compliance and operations. Prior to joining Smith Group, she worked as a Client Service Associate for Morgan Stanley since 2007. Ms. Perry earned an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies from Central Texas College.
Lena Palomo

Ms. Palomo originally joined Smith Group Asset Management in January of 2006, however, after stepping away in 2021 to focus on growing her family owned salsa business, she rejoined the firm in June of 2024. Her responsibilities include client servicing, compliance and operations. Ms. Palomo earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Texas Woman’s University.
